Illustrative data; review minimum-price settings

Apply pricing decisions across your catalog.

Select products and use a consistent rule as available market observations change.

Repeated catalog updates

A one-off bulk edit applies prices you have chosen. Recurring repricing rules help apply a consistent strategy across selected products as available competitor observations change.

Comparable products first

Check model numbers, variants, pack sizes and stock before using a competitor price. A low price for a different product is a poor basis for your rule.

Minimum prices need maintenance

Supplier cost changes can make an old price floor unsuitable. Keep cost inputs and minimum prices current, and review how each rule uses them.

Review prices, then automate selected products

Use the available catalog data to choose a rule and the products it should cover.

Configure a pricing rule

Choose a competitor-based or stock-related rule, select products and set its parameters. Stock and sales-based conditions require the corresponding store data.

Review before expanding

Compare the proposed pricing approach with your catalog and available observations before activating it. Check resulting store prices and expand the product selection when the workflow meets your requirements.

Check available recommendations and matches
Confirm the connected store can accept updates
Review minimum prices and discount settings

Catalog and market inputs

Use the data your pricing rule needs

Competitor rules and stock-related rules use different inputs. Uploaded catalogs can support analysis; sending price changes back requires a supported store connection and permissions.

Set controls before activating rules

Keep costs, product selection and rule settings aligned with the way you want to price.

Minimum Prices

Configure minimum prices and keep the relevant check enabled. Floors based on gross margin require current cost inputs; account for fees and tax treatment in your pricing decision.

Discount Limits

Configure a ceiling for stepped clearance discounts. Check minimum-price behavior and any setting that explicitly allows a discount below the floor.

Review After Changes

Check the applied store prices against the rule configuration and available market observations. Review affected products when inputs or competitor sites change.

Start With Selected Products

Review settings and matching quality for a representative product selection, then inspect the resulting store prices before expanding the rule.

Display Control

Where supported by the rule and store, choose a regular-price change or a discount display. Verify the resulting storefront presentation.

One Rule Per SKU

A product belongs to one active pricing rule. Review the existing product assignment before selecting it for another rule.

Having lowest prices in the market is a core promise we make to our customers. However, it was impossible to actually ensure this in the fast moving online pharmacy market. That's until we started to use Sampo. They monitor the prices of our competitors every hour across our catalog of 10,000+ SKUs, and automatically reduce our price when needed. It's a massive time saver and the only way we can realistically keep our promise to our customers.

Bulk price updates and repricing questions

Choose the workflow that fits your products, store connection and available data.

How is bulk price editing different from automated repricing?

A bulk edit applies prices or adjustments you have chosen to selected products. Competitor-based repricing uses matched market observations and a configured rule to calculate recurring changes. A bulk editor can also schedule tasks; scheduling alone does not supply competitor data or product matching.

What pricing workflows does Sampo support?

Sampo combines competitor product matching and monitoring with recommendations and selected-product pricing rules. Configure the competitor scope, strategy and minimum-price behavior; stock-related rules also need usable stock and sales inputs.

Do price updates require a connected store?

Sending updates to a storefront requires a supported store connection and the appropriate permissions. An uploaded catalog can support analysis, but it does not by itself authorize price writes to an external store.

How do minimum prices affect the rules?

Keep the relevant minimum-price check enabled and review any setting that permits a discount below the floor. Cost-based floors require current cost inputs. Check fees, tax treatment and product variants before relying on a margin calculation.

How fresh is the competitor data?

Growth and Pro plans refresh competitor observations daily. Enterprise schedules are custom. Rule decisions use the data available to them; collection delays and site access can affect freshness.

Do I need to automate the whole catalog?

Start with a representative selection of products, inspect matches and settings, then check the store prices after applying changes. Stock and sales conditions require the corresponding data from your connected store.

What can I evaluate in the trial?

The free 7-day trial requires no credit card and includes 300 SKUs, 3 competitors and 3 pricing rules. Use it to check available matches, coverage and rule controls for your own catalog before subscribing.
